Police cadets meet at Landau Forte in the city centre every Thursday during term time at 18:00/19:00(dependent upon age). Age range is 10-17. Opportunities for cadets to get involved with different teams such as SNT, dog handling, traffic etc as well as taking part in mass training exercises.

Cadets can also work towards a policing qualification once they are 16 and if they are successful they are given a guaranteed interview with Derby University for a place on their police studies course.
